WNBA Star Caitlin Clark Leaves Fever’s Win in Boston with Apparent Leg Injury

Before the game, Clark expressed her appreciation for the opportunity to play in a venue steeped in basketball history. “It seems like an amazing city,” she expressed. “I would love to come back here and explore a little bit more of its history and all the amazing things that you can do.” That could take some time since Boston, home to an unprecedented 18 NBA championships, does not currently have a WNBA team; the Sun remain the league’s only representative in New England, the birthplace of basketball.
